 Des Moines Medical Library Club The Des Moines Medical Library Club cordially invites you to become a member of the only surviving “library/study” club in Polk/Warren County. Years ago there used to be several clubs which provided a place for physicians to get together for camaraderie, socializing and education. This club is the only one remaining. We meet on Wednesdays once or twice a month at the Wakonda Club. A paper regarding a medical topic is presented and the participants attending receive CME credit. Our members are on the staffs of all the local hospitals. Our typical format is as follows: 6:00 PM Social Hour 6:30 PM Gourmet Dinner with Wine 7:15-8:00 Medical Presentation with Discussion Following Break out of your present mold of only seeing a few of your comrades in your office or in your hospital.
